Change Your Thinking, Change Your Life

A 3-hour workshop

This is a powerful workshop that teaches participants techniques for releasing the past and embracing their greatness to make some powerful and exciting changes in achieving their dreams!  Participants will discover the power of their own minds and the Law of Attraction to make positive changes in their life. They will also become aware of negative thinking patterns that have kept them from having the life they want in the areas of financial abundance, relationships, career, and health.  Participants will learn the eight principles for creating powerful positive affirmations and visualizations to achieve their dreams.

 

The Magic of Believing in Yourself

A 3-hour workshop

Believe in yourself - so easy to say, not so easy to do! This program will show participants how to achieve a new level of self-confidence and self-esteem. They will learn how to “weed out” the beliefs of not being talented enough, smart enough, or good enough, to achieve what they want in life. There is within everyone untapped potential, just waiting to be called out! In this workshop, participants will:

  • Understand how “unconscious” beliefs have affected them up until now, and what to do to change them
  • Learn about the toolbox for high self-esteem
  • Discover how to use affirmations and visualizations to create a path for the future they want
  • Develop a stronger connection with their Inner Guidance
  • Understand how they can be the star of their own lives, directing and writing their own script

 

The Leader’s Journey: Discovering Your Leadership Impact

A 3-hour workshop

Leaders are often perceived as those who hold powerful positions or titles. But true leadership is a matter of recognizing your impact and taking responsibility for that impact regardless of your job title or status in life. True leadership is not about a function of the title or position you hold. It doesn’t matter if you are the leader of a corporation or you are teaching your child how to tie his shoes – you are always having an impact, large or small, positive or negative, and you are responsible for that impact. And shifting your mindsets to see that you are a leader, regardless of your title or lot in life, is the first step.

In this workshop, participants will embark on a leadership journey in which they will discover their impact, and explore their leadership qualities, style, and skills. They will learn how to:

  • Notice the impact they have on others
  • Adapt their leadership qualities so that they can bring out the best in others
  • Identify their natural leadership preferences and style so that they can be flexible when leading others
  • Develop their leadership skills to become a more well-rounded leader

 

Work-Life Balance: Reclaim Your Time and Live a More Fulfilling Life

A 3-hour workshop

Life balance is something that many people strive for and, yet, it seems to elude them. At just the moment when life feels like it’s “in balance,” something happens to throw it off. Some people continue their pursuit of balance; some throw in the towel; and others never bother with life balance in the first place.

In this workshop, participants will discover how life balance is all about the choices they make. They have the ability to make micro-adjustments that are needed to continually keep themselves moving toward balance, which ultimately makes them feel more fulfilled.

Participants will explore their current state and their desired state, look at the choices they are making, identify obstacles that may be preventing them from achieving balance and the resources to help them get there, and set a plan to move toward balance.

 

Vision and Goal Setting: Projecting Your Tomorrow and Heading Toward it Today

A 3-hour workshop

What we all must understand is that our level of success is in direct proportion to what we actually get ourselves to do - what we actually act upon, believe in, are passionate about, and willing to follow through on.

Extensive research done at several prestigious universities points to the same conclusion: every person who accomplishes a great deal, and performs at optimum levels, does so by having a clear vision and goal of what they want. Having a clear vision and goal is the hallmark of every form of high achieving.

To achieve anything, one first has to see what he or she wants. To do so one must create his or her own personal vision. Visioning and goal setting is a combination of using the mind and body, mental and physical, thoughts and actions.

In this workshop, participants will tap into their imaginations and create a future vision of what they want for their life. Then, once they have this vision - this mental image of their future – they can plan out the short-term steps needed to reach it. Participants will also create focus and eliminate the distractions that keep them stagnant. With their vision alive at the forefront of their mind and heart, they will stay centered on the right road that will lead to their specific destination. As Robert Frost has so perfectly captured in his famous poem, "The Road Less Traveled," this can truly make for them all the difference.

 

Reducing Stress Is An Inside Job

A full-day workshop

At the worksite, stress can result in decreased productivity, absenteeism, lowered creativity, more frequent accidents, increased conflict and higher health care costs. On a national level, recent statistics indicate that Americans are more stressed than ever. On the positive side, early research on worksite wellness programs indicates that stress management is one of the top four programs for increasing employee motivation and lowering health care costs.

The stress management program covers the following:

Assessments: Employees will assess their stress symptoms and stress buffers via a brief questionnaire. During the workshop, the presenter will demonstrate how the stress symptoms and responses can be decreased by applying effective intervention techniques.

Physical Relaxation Methods: When experiencing stress on an ongoing basis, the body literally forgets how to relax. Simple physiological methods like deep breathing, extended exhale breathing, and progressive relaxation can dramatically help people reduce the stress response. According to Dr. Andrew Weil, “conscious breathing is the MOST important thing we can do for our health.”

Mental Relaxation Methods: Thoughts about an event, rather than the event itself are often responsible for the majority of stress. We feel the way we think. Participants will have an opportunity to identify situations where a change in thinking will result in a reduced stress response.

Time Management: Everyone has 1,440 minutes a day. Learning to use that time effectively is a key for reducing stress. Participants will assess their current time use and learn the basics skills for time management.

Communication Skills: Communicating effectively is the fourth main pillar of good stress management. Participants will learn techniques for handling interactions with co-workers, subordinates, and superiors.

Presentation Style: This workshop will be lively and entertaining as well as informative. It includes multiple learning modalities; participant workbook, powerpoint presentation, lecture, demonstration, and participation. Adult learning research indicates that adults learn most effectively with a variety of learning modalities.
